Welcome
Welcome to SLOPOS17 – the 17th International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques and Applications.
We are honored to host the event from September 6th to 11th, 2026, in the historic town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, in the middle of the beautiful Bavarian Alps. The venue offers an exceptional environment for scholarly discourse, the exchange of cutting-edge research in positron beam techniques, and an exciting social program.
In addition to the main conference, a Summer School will be held on September 5th and 6th. The program is specially designed for Master’s students and doctoral candidates, and it will present a clear and methodical introduction to the fundamental techniques and related methods of positron beam research.
We cordially invite all members of the scientific community to participate in SLOPOS17. Additionally, we encourage you to use the hashtag #SLOPOS17 when sharing your experiences on social media platforms such as LinkedIn or Instagram.
We are looking forward to all participants and an impressive SLOPOS17 conference!
