2025 International Winterschool on Electronic Properties of Novel Materials (IWEPNM)

Our two PhD students Natalie Galfe and Stefan Heiserer participated in the 2025 International Winterschool on Electronic Properties of Novel Materials (IWEPNM), held from March 8th to 14th in Kirchberg, Tyrol. This prestigious conference offered an outstanding platform for exchanging cutting-edge knowledge and latest advancements in the research of 2D materials. The presented posters showed recent results on “Spin-on Graphenic Layers by Pyrolization of Polymer Films” and “Strain-dependent properties of free-standing PtSe₂: Towards 2D MEMS”.

A particularly engaging aspect of the event was the informal scientific discussions that took place during skiing sessions, further enriching the collaborative atmosphere.
