Islam Mansour M.Sc.
Islam Mansour is currently a researcher at the Institute of Space Technology and Space Applications at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, while also pursuing his Ph.D. at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) in collaboration with the Microwaves and Radar Institute of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Weßling, Germany.
He holds a B.Sc. in Astronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and an M.Sc. in Earth Oriented Space Science and Technology (ESPACE) from Technical University of Munich (TUM). Prior to his master studies, he worked as a Systems and Software Engineer at Bosch's Chassis Systems Control division in Budapest, developing Automatic Parking Assistant Systems. In 2020, he joined DLR's Polarimetric SAR Interferometry Research Group for his master's thesis and continued as a doctoral researcher from March 2021 to March 2025.
