Here’s a selection of our current offers:

Module Turnus Description

Startup Weekend - from your idea to pitch in one weekend

spring trimester (ST) + winter trimester (WT)

This weekend will give you an insight into the world of start-ups, with everything that goes with it: How do I find a suitable idea? What distinguishes an idea from a business idea? How can I market the idea and bring it to the target group? The seminar consists of various plenary sessions in which you will be taught the most important content as well as individual project work in interdisciplinary teams in which you will directly apply what you have learnt.

Impact Entrepreneurship

(DE + EN)

ST (EN) + autumn trimester (AT) (DE)

This seminar packs the full start-up journey into just two and a half days. Working in small teams, you’ll design and present a new social business idea. From initial brainstorming to the final pitch, you’ll experience what it really means to think and act like an entrepreneur.

Our offer changes every trimester. For the latest updates, check the official Studium Plus website.

Elective Modules

At UniBw M, students can also choose from a range of elective modules in different faculties. These modules focus on entrepreneurial thinking, intrapreneurship, innovation and key soft skills for future leaders. Here’s a look at some of our most popular options:

Module Turnus Description

Innovation, Intra- & Entrepreneurship

AT

This module explores entrepreneurship and innovation both inside and outside the Bundeswehr. You'll get to know essential tools and methods — and apply them directly in a trimester-long team project. From identifying a problem to developing solutions, building prototypes, testing ideas and pitching to a jury, you’ll walk through every step of the start-up process. Expert coaching is available throughout.

Innovative Communication in the Non-Profit Sector

ST

This module helps you understand the challenges and opportunities in communication and member engagement for non-profit organizations. Combining theory and real-world case studies — including partnerships with organizations like the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V. — you’ll dive into topics such as social media strategies, target group analysis, volunteer engagement and new technologies. By the end, you’ll have practical skills in non-profit communication and marketing.
