Guest Lecture by the CISS Managing Director at the German Society for Security Policy (GSP) Taubertal

On 03.07.2025, the CISS Managing Director, Lieutenant Colonel Timo Muff, gave a guest lecture at the German Society for Security Policy (GSP) Taubertal in the Technology and Start-up Center in Tauberbischofsheim.
After a presentation of the CISS, the Green Paper ZMZ 4.0 (Civil-Military Cooperation) was considered in its refocusing on national and alliance defense and as an instrument of overall defense, also under the conditions of asymmetric and hybrid conflicts below the case of tension and defense. Based on a security policy scenario, the effects and consequences for the German economy will be examined. Around 50 interested guests took part. The lecture was followed by an intensive and lively discussion on the current challenges.
The guest lecture was a good opportunity to present the work of the CISS and one of its current key research areas.
