The University of The University of the Bundeswehr Munich becomes the first partner in the ‘Celonis4Defense’ curriculum

16 March 2026

On the sidelines of the “Celonis4Defense” event, which took place at Celonis headquarters on February 12, 2026, and at which the Professorship of Information Systems, in particular Digital Process Management, was represented by Samuel Kühnel, Immanuel Klein, and Prof. Dr. Christoph Peters, it was announced that the University of the Bundeswehr Munich will become the first partner in the Celonis4Defense curriculum.

Building on the long-standing collaboration between Celonis and Prof. Dr. Peters, this marks another important step toward further advancing and expanding joint research and teaching activities.

Current plans envisage supplementing the existing Celonis curriculum with teaching content covering cyber and defense-related topics. The first implementation is planned for the autumn trimester at UniBw Munich.

In this way, the attractiveness of teaching in relevant courses at the interface of process management, resilience, and AI can be further enhanced for UniBw Munich students through practical examples from the defense sector.
