Our Chair "Energy Conversion" participated the 12th “European Combustion Meeting” in Edinburgh, 07th-10th April 2025.

We had poster presentations on optical diagnostics for studying droplets, sprays and supercritical fluids by Matthias Koegl, Min Son and Anton Schaumäker. The presentation of Niklas Syguda was about oxygen storage materials in combustion applications while Bernhard Stiehl provided insights into simulations of thermal runaway in Li-Ion batteries.
We enjoyed the technical sessions, the conference dinner as well as the castle tour. A special thank goes to Prof. Brian Peterson and his organizing team from University of Edinburgh for putting together this nice programme, and Brian for providing us the nice lab tour!
