Zurück For flow investigations in freestream and for the calibration of hot-wire or pneumatic multi-hole probes, the multi-purpose wind tunnel is available at the Institute of Jet Propulsion. The wind tunnel is supplied with air by a screw compressor and allows the adaptive installation of experimental setups with different measurement techniques. Due to the closed measuring section, investigations are also possible at excess pressure. The operating point can be adjusted via a bypass flap in front of the nozzle and a throttle flap behind the measuring section. A vacuum pump is intended to enable investigations in negative pressure in the future.
