Zurück The installation of the "transient inflow generator" (dt.: Erzeuger Instationärer Zuströmung, EIZ) offers the possibility to perform investigations under periodically transient inflow conditions in the high-speed cascade wind tunnel. For this purpose, 2mm thick bars are moved through the inflow at variable pitch and velocity. This allows to simulate the rotor-stator interaction.
