Brief profile
As a business information scientist, Frederik Bäumer has dedicated himself to the development of chat bot technologies, information extraction methods and information retrieval methods since completing his doctorate at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute at Paderborn University. Between 2018 and 2019, he headed the Semantic Information Processing working group at Paderborn University before moving to Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. There he has held the professorship for Information Systems, in particular Data Science, since March 2024.
As part of MuQuaNet, he is involved in the sub-project “Authority-Dependent Risk Identification and Analysis in online Networks“ (ADRIAN)
