Patrick Hough Ph.D.

Patrick Hough, PhD is postdoctoral researcher in the Privacy and Cryptography group (PACY) which he joined in August 2025. Patrick holds a DPhil in Mathematics (curriculum Cryptography) from the University of Oxford. He also holds an MSc in Mathematics (curriculum Cryptography) from Royal Holloway University of London (RHUL) and an MSci and BSc in Mathematics from University College London (UCL). His current research interests are in post-quantum cryptography, specifically on privacy-enhancing constructions from lattices including zero-knowledge and threshold settings. Patrick is working on the SCANDIUM project funded by ZITIS.
