A heartfelt welcome to Regina Bühler!

IMCS welcomes Regina Bühler as a new member of the computer-based simulation group.

Regina studied mathematics with a focus on optimization at the Technical University of Munich. As part of the ML4ML - Machine Learning for Multigrid Solvers project, she will work with Dr.-Ing. Matthias Mayr and Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Brandstäter, using modern machine learning methods to determine optimal solver parameters for algebraic multigrid methods and thereby simplify the use of these methods for solving large systems of equations.

We are delighted to welcome Regina to our team and wish her a good start in our team and her project.
