Join us at the Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Based Simulation (IMCS) as a fully funded PhD researcher (TVöD E13, 100%)!

 

🔬 Project: 

Performance-portable multigrid solvers for semi- and block-structured grids in computational solid mechanics

 

IMCS offers a unique chance to engage in high-impact research projects with renowned experts within an international and well-connected research environment.
Our institute collaborates closely with leading FEM developers, medical centers, research institutes of the German Armed Forces, and universities worldwide. IMCS is also a co-host of the upcoming World Congress in Computational Mechanics in 2026.

 

👩‍🎓 Who We’re Looking For:

Motivated Master’s graduates in Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science 
…especially those with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and simulation.
