Qualification goals:
Students acquire the ability to create programs using a scripting language (Python; Perl on request). Using a free, platform-independent interpreted programming language, students are able to manipulate and process ASCII files in particular.

- Introduction to a Scripting Language (Python) (Seminar-based teaching; 4 TWS)

- Introduction of data types, control structures and functions in the context of procedural programming
