Module type: Compulsory

Academic: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Deml

Field of study: Applied Communication Technology (CT)

Credit points: 6

Qualification goal:

Skills for the analysis, practical design and dimensioning of basic electronic circuits.

Module components:
  • Fundamentals of circuit technology(Lecture, 3 TWS)
  • Fundamentals of circuit technology (Excercise, 1 TWS)
  • Fundamentals of circuit technology (Practical course, 2 TWS)

Contents:

In this module, students are familiarized with the aids and tools for circuit analysis. Using examples, they learn how to analyse and design basic transistor and operational amplifier circuits as well as source and stabilization circuits. Essential contents are static behavior, large-signal, small-signal and switching behavior of these circuits.

Practice:

By building and testing diode, transistor, operational amplifier basic circuits and generators, the knowledge acquired in the lecture and exercises is deepened and applied.
