Qualification goal:
Ability to practically design user-specific circuits using a selected hardware description language. Ability to analyze and design digital circuits using CAD software.

Contents:
Introduction to a hardware description language Development methodology:
- Systematic approach to the design of circuit examples in data technology, hierarchical concept, utilization of libraries
- Introduction to a development environment
- Presentation of a selected module architecture(FPGA/CPLD/ASIC)
Practical course in hardware description language:
- Practical application of the development tools
- Design input
- Synthesis and simulation
- Realization and testing
Practical course Digital Circuits:
- Dimensioning of digital circuits according to given specifications
- Proof of functionality with the help of simulations
- Creating the associated circuit board templates and production documents
