Module type: Compulsory
Academic: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Deml
Field of study: Applied Communication Technology (CT)
Credit points: 6
Qualification goal:
Ability to analyze, design and dimension basic electronic circuits, amplifiers and generators.
Module components:
- Circuits in Communication Technology (Lecture, 4 TWS)
- Circuits in Communication Technology (Excercise, 2 TWS)
- Circuits in Communication Technology (Practical course, 2 TWS)
- CAD Circuit Design (Practical course, 3 TWS)
Contents:
In this module, students are familiarized with the aids and tools for circuit analysis. Using examples, they learn how to analyse and design basic transistor and operational amplifier circuits, source and stabilization circuits as well as oscillators and generators. Essential content includes static behavior, large-signal, small-signal and switching behavior of these circuits as well as feedback and stability behavior.
Practical course:
By building and testing diode, transistor, operational amplifier basic circuits and generators, the knowledge acquired in the lecture and exercises is deepened and applied.
