As part of a project, the students, who are divided into teams, have to independently solve a given task for controlling an autonomous vehicle. The teams are responsible for planning the task. For the practical realisation of the task, an autonomously operating robot vehicle (four-wheel vehicle without steering - 4WD) is to be programmed. The robot is controlled using ROS (Robot Operating System - ROS.org).
