Research Associate at the Professorship for Data Science

Brief profile

Falk Maoro has been working on natural language processing and artificial intelligence since studying for his Bachelor's and Master's degree in business informatics at Hochschule Bielefeld. He worked there in the Applied AI working group before moving to the Chair of Data Science in February 2022. In the VIKING project, he is investigating the fairness and explainability of artificial intelligence in the context of police text analysis.

He has also worked in various projects on the generation of text summaries, translations and semantic search.
