EUROCRYPT 2025 and Inivted Talk at CTB'25
27 May 2025
From May 4th to 8th, the 44th edition of Eurocrypt — one of the world’s leading scientific conferences in the field of cryptography took plase at the RIU Hotel in Madrid, Spain. Each year, the event showcases the most significant advances in cryptographic research. More than 650 participants gathered in Madrid to attend presentations spanning a wide range of cryptographic topics. In the days preceding the main conference, twelve workshops were held, addressing subjects such as post-quantum cryptography, blockchain, privacy, and more.
Prof. Slamanig was invited to give a keynote talk at the Workshop on Cryptographic Tools for Blockchains. His invited talk titled "Anonymous Credentials: Past, Present and Future", reviewed the basic concept, explored different properties, types and constructions of anonymous credentials. He also looked at current developments - especially the post-quantum setting — and discussed open research problems. The slides of the talk are available here.
