BIRS workshop “Isogeny Graphs in Cryptography”
11 August 2025
From August 3rd to 8th, Sebastian Spindler attended the workshop “Isogeny Graphs in Cryptography” at the Banff International Research Station in Alberta, Canada. At the workshop multiple groups actively explored new research ideas in isogeny-based cryptography, both in terms of theoretical constructions and of more concrete protocols.
Additionally, in his lightning talk “On the diameter of the supersingular ℓ-isogeny graph” Sebastian presented part of his new preprint “Exploring Kaneko’s bound: On multi-edges, loops and the diameter of the supersingular ℓ-isogeny graph” that he recently published together with Sebastiano Boscardin from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
More information about the workshop can be found here, while the new preprint can be found in the IACR Cryptology ePrint Archive.
