Attending ArcticCrypt 2025

24 July 2025

From July 6th to 11th, the QuSAC group attended the second edition of ArcticCrypt – the world’s northernmost cryptography conference – at the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The conference covered a wide range of topics, including multiple talks on isogeny-based cryptography, cryptanalysis, secure multi-party computation and practical applications of cryptography.

Prof. Slamanig was invited to chair the conference's session "Mathematical Aspects of Cryptography", and Sebastian Spindler presented the paper “More Efficient Isogeny Proofs of Knowledge via Canonical Modular Polynomials”, which originated from a collaboration of the QuSAC group with CODE colleague Sören Kleine.

preprint of the group's paper, which will also be presented at the CRYPTO 2025 conference in August, can be found in the IACR Cryptology ePrint Archive.
