André Bluhm M.Sc.
André Bluhm is Head of Department for Data Science and Software Development at the Center for Crisis Early Warning. He leads the research and development of innovative, data- and AI-driven software for global crisis early warning.
Professional background
André Bluhm has already founded, built and managed several research-based AI start-ups. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked as a consultant at Oliver Wyman, where he was responsible for the implementation of data and AI projects for large corporations in the financial sector. He is also active as a lecturer for AI, data science and big data and is deputy chairman of the board of the German Association for the United Nations - Bavarian Association.
Academic background
André Bluhm completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Mathematics at the University of Ulm, including stays abroad at the University of Bologna and HEC Paris. He has also worked in AI research at the Ruhr University Bochum, at KIT and at BMW.
