🌱 STELAR’s 4th Plenary Session at UniBwM

17 June 2025

From risk prevention to precision farming—AI innovations shaping the future of agri-environmental intelligence.

📍 4–5 June 2025 | University of Bundeswehr Munich
(UniBwM), Germany

The STELAR consortium convened for its 4th Plenary Meeting, hosted by the University of Bundeswehr Munich, as the project approaches its final phase in August 2025. This key gathering provided a platform to assess the progress and upcoming milestones of STELAR, with a particular focus on the Knowledge Lake Management System (KLMS) and the Knowledge Graph being developed under the project.

A central theme of the meeting was the integration of STELAR's AI-driven tools into the KLMS framework. These tools are designed to enhance data interoperability and intelligent processing across domains, and include:

  • Data profiling and summarization

  • Schema and entity matching

  • Earth Observation (EO) data fusion

  • Time series imputation

  • Correlation discovery

  • Text mining and annotation

  • EO data labeling

  • Bias detection

  • Synthetic data generation

The consortium engaged in productive technical discussions, addressing integration challenges and aligning efforts toward final deployment. Furthermore, the meeting spotlighted the three real-world pilot use cases demonstrating the project’s impact:

  1. Risk prevention in food supply chains

  2. Early prediction of crop growth

  3. Precision farming interventions

These pilots reflect STELAR’s commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture and food systems through data-driven solutions.
